Congratulations to host nation Mexico on the opening ceremony of the World Cup and on securing a win in the opening game. I hope that all those who follow the tournament will enjoy the matches and the spirit of the event.

As we move into the final two weeks of the academic year, I hope you will join me in reflecting on a successful year in which the school has continued to go from strength to strength. The spirit, cohesion and can-do attitude of our community are truly inspirational and motivate us all to give our very best in providing outstanding opportunities for our students. I have always believed that exceptional education is built on positive relationships between the school, parents and students, and at Greengates those relationships can be seen flourishing across every area of the school, every day of the year. My sincere thanks to everyone for making these relationships such a powerful strength of our community.

Excitement is mounting for the Primary production of “The Wizard of Oz”, which will be staged next Friday 19^th June at 5:00 pm. The team have worked hard over many months to bring the production to the stage, and we are all looking forward to seeing the results of their work. “Break a leg”, as we say, to all involved.
